Vintage Girl Inspired By Ivee.

Today is the birthday of my good friend, Virginia Mae Johnson aka Ivee. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GIRL! :)

Ivee is one of the prettiest persons in this world. She's not only beautiful outside. She also has a heart of gold. As in! She's very prim and proper but she also goes out of her league once in a while. She's witty and funny. She's a very good daughter, sister, girlfriend, and friend. I'm proud to be a part of her circle of best pals. :)

Pretty Girl Inspired by Samantha Ysabel.

HAPPY 11th BIRTHDAY to my dearest cousin, Samantha Ysabel Abenes!

I did this LOs in advance but I only published it on this date so it corresponds with her birthday. Sam is the closest cousin to us because we grew up with her in La Union. She was born when I was in grade five. She was the only baby in the house that time and my siblings and I grew fond of her. She's our "baby." And because she's the youngest among the Abenes girls, she's spoiled and kikay. Haha! She's also the only child. What can you expect?! Haha. But she's growing up beautifully.

These LOs are among those I first made that's why it's still sized 6x4. My cropping is so bano because I don't know how to use Photoshop. Argh! Haha! But I will try to learn Photoshop na! Promise!

I love you, Sam-sam! More cakes and ice cream to come. Saka na ang PSP at Wii mo ha. Hehe.

A Mother's Love Inspired By My Mom

It's mother's day! HAPPY MOTHER's DAY to all moms, mamas, and nanays out there.

As a simple gift to my mama, here's an LO I created for her:

Happy Mother's Day!
Background paper from Lorene Hill Designs
Torn paper and brown&red ribbon from Simply Sweet Designs' Chocolate Kit
Fancy doodle from Misfits Scrapz
Leaf from Mirkak's Sentimental Kit
LOVE stamps from The Ephemeral Victorian
Pink tag from Danis Delusions' Soggy Spring
Ruby bow and jewel from Sophisticated Scraps' Bling Ruby
Photo border from RRD's Bailly's Room Collection

My mom is a very simple woman. She doesn't like to be photographed much that's why I have to crop these photos of her from photos of the family. Haha! Of course, her shyness in front of the camera doesn't mean she's meek in everything. I can go on and on here and come up a list of why I love her and why I love being her daughter but I'd rather say I love her. Period! Haha!

Be Gone for a While.

Awww... just when I am already enjoying digiscrapping, I have to bid adieu to this hobby for a while. I have a personal matter to attend to. I'll be back asap! Hopefully with more LOs. :)

In the meantime, there are some entries to be posted on the dates I scheduled them to be published. They're not much though.

See you soon!

Look At Me Inspired by Yhesha.

Avhey Aiyashi (Yhesha, for short) is the first baby in my high school circle of friends. Her mom is Mary Grace, the one I've made the A Happy Glow for. She's such a big, bouncing baby! She also gets interested in cameras being pointed at her. She looks at the camera with her beautiful eyes. Her reaction depends on her mood the day you take the snaps. Haha! Heard she's been a picky baby, choosing only those people whom she wants to be friendly with. Good thing, she likes me! Hahaha!

Well, Yhesha is turning one this June! Yey! And this is my advance gift for her since I'm such a busy-busyhan ninang that I almost always forget to bring her a little gift whenever I visit her.

Bear Paper from ShabbyPrincess' Vintage Doll Kit
Flower Alphabet from Free Digital Scrapbooking
Embellishments from Queen Brat Designs' New Born Wonder Kit

I'm not very satisfied with this LO because I think it's kindda bare and boring (and Yhesha, in the photo, is frowning! Bagong gising kasi. Hehe!) although I love the elements that I used. Besides, I'm sure Grace would frown at the thought of having pink as the main color of this LO. Grace doesn't want to use pink for Yhesha all the time just because pink are for girls and blue are for boys. Pink's very ordinary, she quipped before. Yes, there's a lot of colors out there! And so, I made another LO, just to see if I can improve the color and the style.

You're Adorable.

YOURE Alphabet from ShabbyPrincess' Sweet Serenity kit
ADORABLE Alphabet from FDS Just 4 Fun
Dark pink flowers from ShabbyPrincess' Promise kit
Wire flower and photo borders from RRD's Flower Girl kit
Small flower from RRD's Kaylabugs kit
Button from RRD's The Forgotten Files 2

I like this one better. Er, although I just couldn't stay away from the color pink. Hehe. Yellow was the color used in Yhesha's baptism. I wish Grace and Yhesha would love my early birthday present.

Hmn, speaking of mother and daughter tandems, Mother's Day is just around the corner! I'm excited to see all the Mother's Day LOs that will be coming out soon on digiscrapping blogs. I'll surely make my mama an LO (or LOs)!
